Obviously you’ll want to see your cat tussle with the Flappy Fish like in the videos. Buuuut, it’s best to introduce them to their new companion slowly and without it on. Let your cat sus the toy out and have a play without it operating — you can try catnip at this point. Once your cat’s familiar with the toy, try turning it on and reinforce their good behaviour with treats. Some cats are braver than others. Take your time with it!

All Flappy Fish should come with charged batteries. It may lose power during transit though. Charging should not take longer than an hour and should offer up to five days of play time.

Your Flappy Fish’s motion sensor can manually be turned on and off. While it is on, it will flop whenever motion is detected. It conserves power by staying still when there’s no motion. If the Flappy Fishy is turned off, it will stay inanimate until turned back on.
